André Heucq is currently run by the fourth generation of the family. Their motto is to offer exceptional wines while respecting the environment. Thus the wines of the house are made without sulphur since 2018 and are certified organic. This 100% Pinot Meunier from the Marne Valley on clay soil (illite) was vinified in stainless steel tanks. | Tasting | The nose is greedy and classic for the variety. One perceives apple and cooked pear on a light background of jasmine. On aeration, notes of bread appear. The attack in the mouth is round. Then the effervescence and the consistency of the wine give a petulant and vinous expression, with a nice fatness with candied citrus flavours. The finish is quite long, supple and marked by a frank and refreshing bitterness which is a sign of the wine's terroir of origin. It is a champagne made for an aperitif with spicy and even sweet and sour bites. |
