Description
A very hot summer resulted in a high quality harvest with an intense aromatic richness. As a result, the 1995 R.D. did not undergo full malolactic fermentation while in barrel and the wines retained delicious acidity, great freshness and a surprisingly long finish.

| Tasting | Quite full and complex nose, flowers and yellow fruits, dry herbs, notes of hazelnut and almond. Quite full on the palate, which seems slightly evolved with light mushroom aromas accompanied by ripe black fruits but with a very nice freshness. Well-structured, well-balanced, good length, a superb wine, now ready and mature, to be enjoyed in small groups with foie gras toast or fresh truffles. |
