Description
This rosé is a curiosity. Indeed, it is made from two perpetuals since 2003: one of white wines, and the other of red wines (2003-2019). This blended rosé comes from the same plot of Meunier and is aged for 24 months in barrels over 8 years old. By using old barrels, the aim is to encourage oxidation. The singularity of the Meuniers reds, vinified through long pre-fermentation cold maceration, makes them a distinctive rosé.

Tasting | The nose is incredibly greedy. It is an explosion of red fruit flavours such as fresh wild strawberry and cherry pit. You might even think you're in a jar of "griottine"! The palate follows perfectly the nose in a greedy but without any heaviness. We find the style of the winemaker's wines with an extraordinary finesse and drinkability. To be enjoyed as an aperitif or to accompany a juicy duck breast just cooked or on a red fruit charlotte. |
