Description
It is with its Brut Réserve that the House has chosen to express the quintessence of its style. Particularly recognisable, this cuvée is the result of a unique blend summed up in one equation: 60/40/10.
60: the number of vintages that can be included in a blend is demanding, tight and tailor-made.
40: a high proportion of 40% reserve wines, equally divided between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, ensures the beautiful complexity and delicacy of Brut Réserve.
10: an average age of 10 years for the reserve wines, exceptional in Champagne. Made from the best vintages of the great years, the wines put in reserve are kept for 5 to 15 years or more. This maturation time is essential for their finesse and aromatic development.

Tasting | The reserve wines give a complex, elegant and greedy nose: freshly baked brioche, roasted notes and ripe, sun-drenched fruits such as mango, apricot and mirabelle plum, as well as dried fruits, pistachio and almonds. In the mouth the texture evokes the crunch of a thin layer of nougatine on a melting cream, with fleshy fruits, plums and cherries. The smoothness is provided by the selection of reserve wines. The finish reveals amber and vanilla notes as well as a touch of praline. Champagne for a complex aperitif where it will be perfect with poultry. |
