It is a champagne with a delicate but extremely aromatic nose with its dominant initial notes of citrus fruits and zest such as orange, mandarin and lemon. When aired, it develops scents of warm butter and brioche while retaining its citrus aromas. The balance is perfect and we discover a chiselled and greedy mouth. An impression of candied citrus fruit cake (orange fondant) develops on the palate to our great delight. The finish is fresh, mineral and never-ending, giving this wine an irresistible "come-hither" feel. It is so good that it should be kept as a solitary aperitif.
