The nose is ripe and intense with notes of wheat, almond, brioche, yellow fruit, bergamot, violet, black tea and seaweed. On the palate, the attack is initially tender, then the mouth widens and becomes dense, rich and generous. The brioche and almond aromas of the nose come through well with flavours of custard. The finish is very long, fruity, greedy but also very chalky and salty. A Champagne for the aperitif or to accompany white meat or fresh cheeses such as goat or ewe.
