Description
An old Champagne grape variety that is very rare and very little cultivated nowadays. The founders of the house, worshippers of Alsace wines and particularly of pinot gris, planted a few acres of this grape variety over 30 years ago. Fragile grape variety and low yield make this a very limited vintage and not available every year! This Champagne is characterized by its fruit and its power in the mouth.

| Tasting | The nose is very aromatic with powerful fruity notes. Original aromas of passion fruit, lychee, mango and peach can be detected. We find the greediness of pinot gris on the palate with these pretty fruity notes of peach, pear, passion fruit but without any heaviness because the finish is fresh and delicate with citrus aromas such as lemon or orange. A very well-balanced ensemble. To be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif or to accompany a chicken curry. |
