Description
Duval-Leroy’s passion for authenticity is illustrated in this cuvée of pure Petit Meslier, a grape variety native to eastern France, planted in the Marne Valley and in the Aube region of Champagne; a natural cross between Gouais Blanc (an ancient historical grape variety of Champagne) and Savagnin. It prefers deep, rich, clay-limestone soils on well exposed slopes. This variety produces white grapes with golden yellow skin. Its juice is very fresh and fragrant with notes of rhubarb.
