Tasting | The nose is surprisingly fine for a blanc de noirs. Subtle notes of wild berries (strawberries, blackberries) caress the nostrils. The mouthfeel is delicate but also powerful and the whole is perfectly balanced. The absence of dosage is perfectly controlled and the wine offers a great aromatic palette around fruits and roasted almonds. The finish offers a subtle minerality and a very powerful length. In spite of its finesse at first sight, this rich and powerful wine is best served with fine meats. |
