Starting on a smoky register, evoking peat, the bouquet then unfolds in successive waves. Barley sugar and brown sugar, dried fruits, undergrowth flavours, gingerbread, cinnamon, praline, candied fruits and vegetables, baked apple, pineapple, white peach: it's a veritable farandole of aromas that bursts from the glass. The palate is very intense and rich. The ripeness-freshness duality perceived on the nose is confirmed in the mouth. The base of the wine has aromas of dried fruit and the overall sensation is one of liveliness. This Champagne is above all a great gastronomic wine, particularly distinguished, allowing original associations.
