| Tasting | After the initial nose of baked apples, aromas of tangerine, orange, lime peel, fresh butter and fresh almonds dominate. On the palate the attack is fruity with a nice roundness. We find the citrus fruits of the nose (orange) combined with notes of yellow and white fruits like nectarine and pear. The finish is very long with a nice freshness and its notes of zest that lasts. This pinot meunier is really bluffing and atypical a real blind trap! It is a perfect accompaniment to a young county 12-18 months, crab or monkfish with celery purée. |
