Champagne GOSSET Celebris Rosé 2007 Extra Brut
Traditional vinification and maturation on lees to avoid premature oxidation. Blended rosé made from 7% pinot noir vinified in red. Malolactic fermentation is carefully avoided in order to preserve the natural fruity aroma of the wines and to ensure perfect conservation. Extra-brut dosage (5 g/l) to maintain the balance between freshness, fruitiness and vinosity without masking the wine’s character and purity. Aged for at least 10 years in the cellar to obtain a complex and fruity wine.
41% Pinot Noir, 59% Chardonnay
No malolactic fermentation
The nose expresses aromas of raspberry, strawberry, blueberry and bourbon vanilla, but also fresher notes of flowers such as lilac or violet. The fresh, full-bodied palate, dominated by the red fruit of strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant, provides a soft, enveloping sensation, continuing with notes of grapefruit and lemon. This cuvée is made to seduce the finest palates and more generally all lovers of romanticism as an aperitif. It can be served as an accompaniment to carefully chosen dishes, such as pink tuna, roasted scampi, lobster, lightly pink veal, milk-fed or pre-salted lamb, wild salmon, but also on desserts based on strawberries, raspberries, or pink grapefruit.
