Description
Damery, a village fed by the Marne and its tributaries, offers river wines, an appellation used in the past in opposition to mountain wines (mountain of Reims). Dominated by the Meunier grape, without malolactic fermentation and enhanced by the addition of one third of a 34 year old solera from 1980 to 2013, the aromas of this cuvée are fruity, soft and light.

Tasting | The nose is very fruity (apple, pear, apricot, peach, citrus) with slightly toasted aromas and extreme finesse. A very greedy structure in the mouth, supple and with a lot of substance. The notes of cooked white fruit mingle wonderfully with the flavours of hazelnut and toast. The finish is long, greedy and above all very elegant. A perfect Champagne for the aperitif or at the table with poultry. |
