Description
Rigorous selection of grapes, vinification and maturation in small 228L oak barrels, thus respecting the nature of the grapes and the personality of the terroir. The other originality lies in the choice to avoid malolactic fermentation in order to preserve all the freshness and character of the grapes. An astonishing Cuvée made exclusively from Grands Crus, for the most part from the vines of Avize and Cramant. It offers a pure and lively wine with sensational potential.

Tasting | The first nose is precise. Lemongrass and almond set the tone on a background of iodine and seaweed. On aeration, the expression broadens with sponge cake and yellow flowers, but keeps its freshness with a hint of verbena. The attack is frank and chiselled, then the palate combines consistency of substance, supple dosage and sapid freshness. The whole generates a full and silky sensation. The effervescence provides a binder and a form of fluidity. In the second half, the richness of the year is tempered by the beautiful vivacity and light tannins of the vintage. The overall texture is both dense and firm. The finish is very tasty and long. It offers an elegant and fresh chewiness carried by a chalky minerality. At the table, it is best served with rich, well-constituted and tasty dishes to accompany the wine's vinosity, minerality and dosage. |
