Description
The Fût de Chêne MV (MV as in Multi Vintage) is the most complete and richest expression of the house style. This wine is aged in solera, thus combining several vintages. The 2017 vintage is in the majority in this cuvée MV 17, representing more than two thirds of the blend. This champagne comes exclusively from the Ay Grand Crus terroir and spends 12 months in small oak barrels from the Argonne forest, then 6 years on the lees in bottles. A magnificent vintage for connoisseurs.

| Tasting | The nose shows from the opening a lot of aromatic power with a very racy style typical of the house. We find an oxidative nose around hazelnut, honey, frangipane and dried apricot. The mouth is ample with perfectly integrated bubbles. A lot of vinosity in the mouth for the pleasure of the amateurs. Superb balance and beautiful length, an exceptional champagne. As an aperitif by the fire or to accompany a veal sauté. |
