Champagne HENRIET-BAZIN Blanc de Blancs Brut 1er Cru
Mostly planted with Pinot Noir, the mountain of Reims has an exception: Villers-Marmery. On soils of pure chalk covered with gravel, Chardonnay is dominant for 99%. The blend includes 30% reserve wines from 1968 to 2013. A gourmet combination of fruit and finesse.
The nose is very expressive and opens with warm notes of candied fruit, honey and a hint of toast. The attack on the palate is fresh, then the wine develops a sensation of softness and fatness, all in finesse. A generous Blanc de Blancs that goes very well with scallops, duck or smoked ham.
