Champagne was able to produce a great 1990 vintage, despite the April frost which affected more than 40% of the vineyard. A very hot and dry year with an early harvest. The quality is excellent, the champagnes are rich, full and aromatic, and the top-of-the-range vintages are powerful and vinous with great acidity (guaranteed to keep).
