Description
DT 741, based on a “late” 2013 vintage (harvested in October) is surprisingly good in contrast to other vineyards. Time in the bottle, mineralization and patina have done their work. Thanks to 94 months on laths and corking, the wine displays a remarkable vinosity, and slowly shifts to autumnal fragrances, without losing any freshness.

Tasting | A nose with powerful and greedy notes dominated by dried fruits. Then the aeration gives way to ripe white and yellow fruits which are enhanced by pastry notes. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with citrus fruits and a finish of dried fruits and mineral touches. It goes well with autumnal dishes: fine porcini pie, parmesan shavings, a good white truffle risotto or simply as an aperitif with some fine charcuterie. |
