The nose is greedy and very expressive with scents of blackberry, morello cherry and stewed strawberry. After aeration, toasty aromas and a slight smokiness are perceptible. The attack in the mouth is round, with black fruit fragrances, followed by a nice smoothness. The finish is fresher with tangy redcurrant notes and punctuated by a fine smoky mineral edge. This rosé can easily be served with pink meat, quails stuffed with prunes or even verrines of smoked salmon and ricotta.
