| Tasting | An expressive nose offering ripe notes of blueberry and blackcurrant combined with accents of aniseed and candied ginger. A slight touch of toast marks a slight evolution. The palate is vibrant and has great energy. The initial saline and lemony notes give way in the glass to pretty exotic and floral notes. The 2014 Special Club Vintage is formidable in both its aromatic texture and finesse. The length is long with a slightly roasted finish. Mature Champagne perfect as an aperitif or to accompany a Bresse chicken. |
