A precise and complex nose of good intensity with a harmonious blend of floral, brioche, white and yellow fruit (apple, mirabelle plum) and citrus (lemon) aromas with a touch of honey, toast and mushroom marking the ageing in barrels. The mouth is vinous, full and greedy, the ripe fruits are well present and then give way to a controlled bitterness. Very good balance between the maturity of the fruit, the greediness and the mineral freshness on a chalky and salty side. We finish on a beautiful retro-olfaction which gives pride of place to the fruit. A very nice blend of grape varieties and terroir for a complex aperitif or to accompany a fine poultry.
