Tasting | A fresh and greedy aromatic nose that resembles a fine burgundy with its aromas of hazelnut, warm bread, toast and brioche. On aeration we discover the fruitier aromas of pinot noir with notes of peach and mirabelle plum, a mineral side brought by the clay of the plot and the presence of the barrel but which is very well integrated. On the palate, the first sensation is tonic and invigorating with citrus aromas, then it quickly becomes fuller and more powerful with a beautiful greediness of ripe fruit. A wine that perfectly represents the richness and vinosity of the Auvergne terroir. The finish is very long, powerful and tasty. A Champagne to be enjoyed as an aperitif to discover the full characteristics of this terroir apart from Champagne (half Champagne – half Burgundy) or at table to accompany salmon or white meat. |
