An open and fruity nose combining notes of black fruit, blueberry and blackberry. On aeration, notes of gingerbread, cinnamon, star anise and a light vanilla finish appear. In the mouth a good structure with a creamy and greedy attack. Notes of blackberry and redcurrant. The finish is long and intense with a beautiful minerality, typical of the Aÿ terroir. An elegant match for seafood and iodised fish, it is also a great match for Bellota or Cecina ham, and goes perfectly with roast lamb, venison and washed-rind cheeses.
