Description
This cuvée offers the essential characteristics of the Mareuil-sur-Ay terroir which is dominant in the blend where Pinot Noir is in the majority. A beautiful balance between structure, length in the mouth and vinosity brought by the reserve wines managed in solera and matured in oak. Partial malolactic fermentation to maintain the balance between freshness, fruitiness and vinosity without masking the character of the wine.

| Tasting | An initial nose of vine flowers, lime blossom and fresh, slightly toasted bread. On aeration, nose of red fruit, citrus and honey. On the palate, a beautiful vinous attack, fruity (redcurrant, raspberry, ripe grape) and full-bodied, ample and long. Finishes with a light biscuit and freshly baked bread note. As an aperitif, or to enhance white meats, poultry and fine charcuterie, cold or hot. |
