On the nose, the straightforward purity of this vintage is vivid. As it warms in the glass, Rare Millésime 2008 unfolds infinitely fragrant accords of orange blossom, hyacinth and white flowers. Then vanilla flower, a touch of fresh coconut, aromas of Williams pear and fresh almond are enriched by notes of mandarin and blackcurrant bud. On the second nose, the minerality, saline and refined, signs an iodine-smoke harmony, enhanced by a touch of liquorice. On the palate, the aromatic sensations are multiplied: notes of fresh pineapple, just cut, passion fruit, kiwi, coconut and tangy citrus. They are mixed with spring accents of incomparable length.
