Description
Blanc de Noirs from the “franc de pied” plantation, made from equal parts of Pinot Noir from the “Limons” plot in Vrigny and Pinot Meunier from the “Linguets” plot in Gueux. Franc de pied is the name given to specify that a vine has not been grafted. Indeed, since the phylloxera epidemic at the end of the 19th century, practically all the grape varieties have been grafted onto rootstocks, most of which are of American origin. The franc de pied is therefore of French origin. This very special cuvée has not undergone malolactic fermentation to retain its purity.

Tasting | A very fruity and full nose but with a lot of finesse that opens up with notes of exotic fruits like lychee and mango. Subtle notes of cherry complete this aromatic palette. On the palate, there is a lot of substance, it is vinous and rich but still very elegant. A beautiful tension accompanies these fruit aromas. Amazing! A great finish maintained by a pleasant bitterness at the end. Superb as an aperitif or wonderful with a nice piece of grilled beef. |
