Description
L’Empreinte du Terroir, a selection of old vines (more than 80 years old) in gold on the label representing Vrigny’s vineyard register. Without any dosage, it enhances the spirit and the name of the Terroir. The Chardonnay was selected on chalk, the Pinot Noir on clay and the Meunier on sand to express the mineral qualities of this Premier Cru terroir. A minimum of 6 years’ ageing in the cellar makes this purist’s Champagne perfect.

Tasting | The first sensation is very salty and iodized, then the nose quickly opens up to aromas of apple, apricot, plum compote and dried fruit. Beautiful attack in the mouth with fat and power. The Pinot Noir gives fullness, the Meunier brings smoothness and the Chardonnay evokes citrus scents. The wine remains very mineral and very saline associated with beautiful fruity notes such as pear, peach, apricot. A truly unique wine. On the finish, some woody, even slightly spicy notes and always mineral, very saline and fresh flavours. Perfect as an aperitif, it will be wonderful with seafood. |
