Taittinger Prestige Rosé is immediately distinguishable by its shimmering, intense colour, which it owes to the secret of its production: a blended rosé, which is more demanding and costly to make. It is indeed the 15% of still red wine, made from the best Pinots Noirs of the Montagne de Reims and Les Riceys and added to the final blend, which gives this cuvée its incomparable colour, but also its vibrant intensity in the mouth. The high proportion of Chardonnay (30%) which completes the blend, brings the elegance and delicacy of the Taittinger signature champagnes

| Tasting | The nose is full and expressive, both fresh and young. It gives off aromas of red fruits (freshly crushed wild raspberries, cherries, blackcurrants). The palate reveals a subtle balance between smoothness and fullness. The flavours are reminiscent of fresh, crisp red fruit. Four words come to mind: lively, fruity, fresh, frisky as only a blended rosé can be. Taittinger Prestige Rosé is suitable for both early and late evening tastings. Deliciously flavoured for an aperitif, it can just as easily be combined with a fruit dessert (tart, salad, red fruit gratin). |
