Description
From the place called “Mocque Tonneau” in Celles-lès-Condé, this south-facing plot with a 33% slope is a historical cradle of Pinot Noir, already a favourite terroir of the court of the Kings of France. This wine was vinified in Burgundy barrels, without malolactic fermentation, neither filtered nor clarified, and aged for almost 12 years in bottle. The Royal Vine invites you to a vibrant and voluptuous tasting.

Tasting | A nose with a lot of character and personality, typical of the grape variety, which expresses itself on floral notes (dried roses), fruity (blackberries, blackcurrants), racy (light tobacco, leather) and empyreumatic (chocolate, toast). The palate is creamy with opulence and great complexity of marzipan, herbs, black fruits, evolution and liquorice. A powerful, unctuous and long finish for a great, complex and vibrant Champagne for a "muscular" aperitif or to accompany your sweet and savoury dishes such as peking pork. |
