Tasting | The first nose is fruity and very fresh. Yellow fruit and green melon flavours are perceived on a minty background. After a few moments of airing, deeper notes emerge. Hazelnut, butter, brioche, thyme come to us in turn. It is a complex nose, which takes us to different worlds. The attack in the mouth is soft, very comfortable, then one is struck by the substance of the wine. It is ample, full and produces an oily sensation. The whole is expressed on an aromatic "biscuity – woody" background as well as a dense and caressing texture. The finish is very long and shows soft tannins, which delay the sensation of freshness that comes later. The wine finishes on a warm, chalky note. To be reserved for a meal of fine seafood: roasted scallops, sole meunière or turbot with champagne. |
