Description
LPM stands for “La Petite Montagne” because the grapes used to make this champagne come exclusively from the Saint-Thierry massif. It could also have been translated as Le Pinot Meunier because Maxime offers us here an unusual white Meuniers. Made in casks and aged for 11 months on the lees in the barrels, expect to be surprised.

Tasting | The nose opens with fine notes of quince, pear and fresh almond. The attack in the mouth is frank and very elegant. We are in the presence of a Pinot Meunier with a lot of finesse and lace. The fresh white fruit notes are delicate and the generous palate gives way to a beautiful minerality and a slight salinity. When Pinot Meunier offers a finesse comparable to Chardonnay, you will discover an aperitif companion that will also go well with a tuna tartar or a Haddock pie. |
