Coteaux Champenois Jean VESSELLE Bouzy Rouge 2009 Grand Cru
Already in the 17th century, red Bouzy was a high quality wine and as strange as it may seem, it was the only wine produced on the Bouzy hillsides. At the time, the Bouzy winegrowers did not produce any Champagne. Bouzy rouge built its reputation and brightened up the meals at the court of the kings of France by teasing out the wines of Burgundy.
100% Pinot Noir
A beautiful, bright garnet red. A very aromatic and powerful nose with notes of cherry, ripe fruit and animal. An unctuous palate well balanced between the roundness of the fruit (Morello cherry, cherry, raspberry), the freshness (notes of acidulous sweets) and the melted tannins. Good length with power and fruit. To accompany your game birds or red meat. Possibility of age (5 to 10 years)
