Tasting | The first nose is intense and very fruity. On brewing, the nose opens up to warm notes of black fruit, prunes and cherries in brandy. There are also some buttery notes. The whole is supported by a present and well-bound woodiness. The palate is very soft, then the mid-palate is round and full, all in aromatic harmony with the nose. We find the greediness of the red and black fruit notes. The finish is punctuated by fine woody notes. A generous wine that combines both intensity and sweetness. This wine will go perfectly with roast pork accompanied by a compote of potatoes and prunes. |
