The Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill was created in 1975 to mark the tenth anniversary of his death. Churchill was a great friend of Odette Pol Roger, whom he had met at a gala dinner held at the British Embassy just after the Liberation. She pays tribute to Churchill, bringing together all the qualities he appreciated in Champagne: strength, structure and maturity.
