The first sensation on the nose is fine and elegant with notes of candied citrus fruit and a hint of mandarin. Then the nose evolves towards aromas of dried fruits (fig, date…) and honey. The palate is very well balanced between a nice freshness showing the minerality of the Pinot Noir and the velvety aromas of ripe citrus fruits like orange and dried fruits. An excellent wine. A persistent and enveloping finish. For a nice aperitif or as a meal with foie gras or venison.
