Description
Pinot Noir is part of the history of Champagne, but also of the house of Henri Giraud and is intimately linked to the village of Aÿ. This cuvée is vinified and matured for 12 months on the lees, in small oak barrels, then 6 months on the fine lees. It will then be aged for at least 3 years in the cellars to develop its aromatic palette. We discover an expressive and incredibly elegant Blanc de Noirs.

Tasting | On the nose, beautiful aromatic complexity with notes of yellow fruit, spices, apricot jam, toasted brioche, candied ginger and lime. and a more mineral touch from the Aÿ terroir. On the palate, this is an intense wine, which opens with a frank, straightforward attack, then unfolds its full range of aromas (ripe fruit, almonds, praline, lightly wooded). The texture of the wine is silky, elegant. Finally, the finish evokes chalk and a touch of salinity. A Blanc de Noirs Champagne which behaves very well as an aperitif and which will perfectly accompany a pan-fried foie gras. |
