Fresh and delicate, the first nose reveals aromas of candied citrus fruits and then slowly evolves towards notes of crunchy fruits such as apple and pear. On the palate the wine is precise, full of tension and minerality. The chalky, iodine and citrus flavours that stimulate the taste buds in the attack give way to greedy pastry, almond and ripe fruit flavours as the wine warms up. The saline finish is of great purity with beautiful delicate bitters. Ideal as an aperitif, its purity makes it a good match for oysters or seafood.
