Description
In contrast to the non-vintage Brut produced by most champagne houses whose objective is to have a taste and style of the most perfect regularity, the concept of the 700 cuvées is to reflect the character of the main year of the blend. Thus, after spending 94 months on lees, Cuvée 740 was made on the basis of the 2012 harvest and was recently disgorged (DT for late disgorgement)

Tasting | A magnificent Champagne wine with a beautiful deep yellow colour and golden hues. The aromatic expression is dominated by notes of dried fruit, ripe yellow fruit such as apricot and peach. Notes of hay, quince with a few hints of honey complete a picture rich in flavours. The palate is both ample and delicate, enhanced by a fine and balanced bubble. Elegance dominates with a persistent, mineral finish. Goose foie gras with truffles. Back of pike-perch with morels. Braised veal chop with trumpets of death. |
