Description
The red Champagne wine used to make the Cuvée Royale Réserve Rosé is made from grapes grown in Mareuil-sur-Ay, one of the Philipponnat family’s historic vineyards. The still red wine and the rosé de saignée of Pinot Noir from Mareuil-sur-Ay and Riceys are obtained by maceration and incorporated at a rate of 7 to 8%. This cuvée is characterised by its fine bouquet where the fruity notes reveal themselves to be complex. On the palate, the attack is precise and the fruit notes highlight the spicy touches.
