Description
This 1990 vintage was made by sourcing only from 7 Grand Cru villages, 1 Premier Cru village and 1 Cru village. This cuvée has the particularity of not having undergone malolactic fermentation. Remarkably well-balanced, the 1990 vintage displays spicy honey notes and candied fruit flavours. A collector’s wine par excellence, but above all a vintage with exceptional ageing potential.

Tasting | The nose develops wonderful aromas of honey, conifer and gingerbread. The whole is punctuated by a slight minerality. On the palate, the first sensation is warm and round. The aromas of candied fruit and vanilla play with the freshness of candied citrus. In the end it is the tension that prevails with a very nice length. To accompany a sweet and salty Asian cuisine, pork with caramel for example. |
