Description
A blend of Premiers and Grands Crus de Pinots Noirs with a touch of Chardonnay. The specificity of its style and colour is obtained by the addition, during the blending, of about 8% of red wine generally from parcels of Aÿ and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. These vineyards are owned by Champagne Deutz and the wine is made by the House’s Chef de Caves. After nearly 3 years of ageing on the lees, the aromas are perfectly blended and the Brut Rosé presents a nose of great subtlety and, on the palate, a remarkable “mellow – fresh” alliance.

Tasting | The nose expresses itself with frankness and delicacy in a register of cherries, blackberries, pomegranates and currants. The ample and delectable palate is perfectly consistent with the nose and is enlivened by delicious notes of fresh strawberries and raspberries. The pleasant acidic notes on the finish underline the finesse of this balanced wine with romantic overtones. As much an aperitif champagne as a meal wine, it will be the perfect partner for salmon with mushrooms, beef carpaccio, duck with cranberries, rack of lamb and certain fresh cheeses (Chaource, Brillat Savarin …..) |
