On the nose, the floral sweetness of lime blossom is followed by the grey, grilled, ashy minerality so typical of Dom Pérignon. The dry fruit of the apricot appears, followed by the candied fruit of the raspberry and the fig. The unexpected freshness of verbena, white pepper and rosemary rises for a moment, before plunging into dark, spicy, liquorice wood. In the mouth the wine is physical. It appeals, more tactile and vibrant than aromatic. It is built on rhythm and rupture: it surges, envelops, before withdrawing into a deep verticality, slowly stretching into the depths of a bitter, iodized, sapid taste.
