Description
The Vincey family have been winemakers for 8 generations, but it wasn’t until the arrival of Quentin in 2014 that production took the shape it does today. Together with Marine, they work on 7 hectares in Oger, Mesnil and Chouilly, and are moving towards biodynamic farming without pesticides or herbicides (currently uncertified). This cuvée is a selection of old vines from the village of Oger grand cru. Intuitive winemaking respectful of the terroir, 12 months on lees in barrel, neither fined nor filtered, and corked. A fine, complex wine with a perfect mastery of wood for unique taste sensations.

Tasting | The nose is magnificent, with a light touch of caramel accompanied by numerous tropical and exotic flavors. The barrel is superbly integrated and blends perfectly with the notes of fleshy apple, fresh bread and vanilla. The palate is vibrant; fresh, textured, with a delicate barrel that enhances the juicy, playful tropical elements without losing the wine's aromatic profile. The finish is simply superb; so generous yet perfectly linking some bitter elements to create an immediate return to the glass! The work is perfect on this vintage and the pleasure is immediate. The perfect aperitif. |
