Description
Krug Grande Cuvée 164ème Édition was created around the 2008 harvest. The 2008 Chardonnays showed unusual generosity and suppleness, while the Pinot Noirs displayed character and boldness. Meunier come from the House’s vast reserve library since 2002 and 2006 and were selected for their fruity brightness. Reserve wines make up 32% of the blend, giving it the fullness and roundness essential to each edition of Krug Grande Cuvée. The 164th Edition of Krug Grande Cuvée is remarkable. A wine of such pedigree and elegance harkens back to some of the greatest Krug Grande Cuvée wines of the 1960s and 1970s.
