Description
Already in the 17th century, red Bouzy was a high quality wine and as strange as it may seem, it was the only wine produced on the Bouzy hillsides. At the time, the Bouzy winegrowers did not produce any Champagne. Bouzy rouge built its reputation and brightened up the meals at the court of the kings of France by teasing out the wines of Burgundy.
