Description
Alexandre Lamblot is one of the young generation revolutionizing Champagne with a vision of the craft and production that is closer to the terroir. Farming is carried out by reintroducing trees and drawing inspiration from biodynamics, in particular the use of lunar cycles. Cuvées are vinified by terroir and grape variety using indigenous yeasts in different containers. This cuvée is made from 2 parcels of old vines from Vrigny (Les Fourgons planted in 1969) and Janvry (Grand Chemin planted in 1982). The wines are unchaptalised, filtered and fined.

Tasting | Very elegant, with aromas of white flowers, pastry, butter and citrus, the wine is generous, aromatic, round, but above all particularly vibrant. On the palate, it is just as generous and aromatic on yellow fruits, with a nice tension on citrus fruits and a salinity that invites you to come back for more. The absence of dosage gives this wine both gourmandise and a lively, fresh finish. Already good now, this champagne will become a benchmark in a few years for the most patient. |
