Description
The heart of the Mesnil sur Oger terroir for this wine, which is matured and vinified in small barrels on lees for about 10 months. The wine is stirred regularly to bring the lees back into suspension and thus nourish it, while the absence of malolactic fermentation gives it freshness and lightness. Moreover, this wine has benefited from 10 years of maturation in the cellar

Tasting | A very complex nose, rich with buttery, brioche and citrus notes. The whole is harmonious and melted and the wine evolves constantly in the glass. On the palate, all the power and vinosity of the wine are served by a long fresh finish. Citrus fruits and brioche notes make this a wine with a beautiful fullness, broad and very long, with a fine acidity that brings out the citrus fruits. Excellent Champagne to be reserved for the great moments of aperitif or will marry perfectly with a veal braised with boletus. |
