On the nose, it's a highly aromatic, complex wine, developing aromas of ripe red fruit (raspberry, morello cherry…) which then evolve towards notes of exotic fruit and dried fruit. The palate is suave and very long. The fruity notes and intensity seen on the nose are carried by a silky, elegant texture. An aperitif that will express itself all the more if you decant it. A perfect match for scallop carpaccio with truffle shavings, or for Bresse poultry with morel mushrooms.
