This cuvée is made from the “Chétillon de Haut” parcel in Mesnil sur Oger, whose name refers to “Châtillon”, meaning castle or fortified place. The terroir is composed of pure, iodized chalk, crossed in places by silty-chalky collusions. The finest grapes from this locality were selected and vinified in a 600-liter demi-muid specially set aside for its quality. The 2018 vintage, the year of Elise’s first harvest, is featured in this N°1 edition. The wines are bottled under cork and aged for 42 months.
