From a plot planted using massal selection in 1972, the meunier variety reveals a mineral, floral and saline aspect. Often overlooked and even disparaged, meunier is a magical grape variety when grown without excess and with controlled yields. Selection only of the cuvée and vinification/ageing on lees in barrels without malolactic fermentation.

| Tasting | This Champagne de Meunier offers an expressive nose of fragrant flowers such as honeysuckle and peony. Then come scents of garrigue, dried herbs and ripe lemon. The palate is dazzlingly pure. All the originality of these cold clays is expressed by their remarkable salinity and mineral mouthfeel. The final density of this Champagne moves towards flavors of roasted yellow lemon. This champagne is the perfect accompaniment to the iodized, seafood side of a dish such as langoustine al dente or ceviche. |
